2009 Wine and Cheese Gala

The 5th Annual Wine and Cheese Gala and Auction is scheduled!!

The Athenaeum, 900 East Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO.

The night will include some of the same events you have seen before. The "Heads and Tails" game, a Wine raffle, along with the Silent and Live auctions.

We will also be presenting the "Roger A. Gooden Human Rights Award" to the 2009 recipient. Make sure to join us for a night of fun, and friends!!!

The Caterer

This years event will once again feature catering from Terry Booker of "The Cafe" in Leavenworth KS.

Our wine selection this year will include Kendall-Jackson and Korbel Wines

The Auctioneer

Nicole Kelly has worked as our auctioneer every year of the gala and has graciously agreed to help us out again. Nicole is a licensed real estate agent and auctioneer in Kansas
and Missouri. She specializes in real estate auctions and traditional real estate transactions, estate collection auctions,business liquidation auctions and benefit fund raising auctions.

In 2007, Nicole was honored as the 2007 Missouri State Bid Calling Champion, women’s division by the Missouri Professional Auctioneer Association at their annual contest held at the Kansas City American Royal Wagstaff Theater. Nicole represented the State of Missouri at the International Auctioneer Championship which is sponsored annually by the National Auctioneers Association. Nicole is also a board member of the Missouri Professional Auctioneers Association and a member of the National Auctioneers Association. Nicole is an active volunteer in her community and is highly respected for her service work. For more information please visit her website.
